Role of Ascari Furniture: Production and supply of all furniture and decoration items for the apartments, including beds, bases, headboards, wardrobes, nightstands, sofa sets, TV units, dining room sets, bathroom cabinets, carpets, curtains, and coffee tables.
Production Duration: All products were manufactured and dispatched within 58 days.
Total Project Duration: Including installation, was achieved in 119 days.
The Al Thumama Complex: A Story of Impossible Timing
The Al Thumama Complex was a massive temporary accommodation project designed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. With a capacity of 786 apartments and a total of 1,965 beds, it was more than just a construction project; it was an incredible test of speed and logistics.
The most remarkable aspect of this project was its extraordinary production and shipping process. We completed and dispatched the manufacturing of over 200 containers of products in just 58 days. This wasn't a standard manufacturing operation; it was a process managed like the orchestration of a symphony, with every stage meticulously planned. Thanks to this exceptional planning skill demonstrated at every point of production, logistics, and the supply chain, hundreds of apartments were prepared flawlessly.The entire project, including installation, was completed as a turnkey solution in a record-breaking 119 days. The Al Thumama Complex project is a success story that shows we can not only complete a large-scale job successfully but also manage the most complex operations under difficult conditions. For us, this was a proud victory.
This huge challenge required the detailed supply of furniture and decoration. At Ascari Furniture, we were tasked with furnishing every apartment from top to bottom, from beds to TV units, and from carpets to curtains. But the real challenge was completing such a large job in a limited amount of time.
